About Stacie's Scholarship

A scholarship fund in honor of Stacie Chevrier and her support of the life changing impact of a service dog.

Retrieving Independence is a Nashville based nonprofit that breeds, trains, and places service dogs with people who are living with physical, mental, or emotional disabilities. One of the only service dog organizations in the country to employ counselors, RI operates within the prison system to use the combination of positive dog training methods and individual counseling to also serve their mission of inmate rehabilitation.

Stacie not only had the opportunity to have her very own Jasmine, she was also a dedicated puppy raiser and volunteer who greatly loved the mission and those RI serves.
